Cave Tastings 2025

Experience where the magic happens at our Winery location in Peru, Illinois! Step into our Winery Caves where your favorite August Hill & ISC wines are produced and stored. Enjoy a unique wine journey presented to a small group of up to 20 people (approximately 45 minutes long). The Cave Tasting Experience includes a wine tasting of six August Hill/ISC wines specially selected by our staff and a signature tasting glass for you to take home. Tickets are $30 per person; $20 for Insider Wine Club members (limit 2 discount tickets/day).

The Cave Tasting Experience is offered every Saturday and Sunday. Tasting time slots are as follows.
Please note that online ticket sales end 2 hrs prior to the Cave Tastings. i.e. Saturday 12 pm Cave Tasting tickets will shut off Saturday at 10 am. Reservations are accepted at the event if spots are available; call 815-200-5067 to ask about last minute availability. This phone will only be answered during Wine on the Hill hours.

• Sundays: 12pm, 2pm, 4pm 

NEW THIS YEAR! On the first Saturday of each month, our 12 pm Cave Tasting will be a special Sparkling Cave Tasting, featuring our delicious ISC bubbles (Jun 7, Jul 5, Aug 2, Sep 6, Oct 4)! Important info:

• Please DO NOT pre-order wine with your ticket. Our software gets unhappy if you try. We will have plenty of your favorite wines available for you to purchase when you arrive.
• Your confirmation email will provide directions to our winery location and other important information. If you reserve spots for others, please forward the information to them. You can also find additional information and FAQs on our website. 
• No one under 21 is permitted to consume alcohol.
• Children are not allowed in the tasting cave. If you are attending the Cave Tasting, we ask that you have an adult available to supervise children outside of the Cave Tasting area. 
• Dogs are not allowed in the winery. If you bring your dog with you to attend Wine on the Hill, please make sure you have someone available to watch the dog while you are doing your tasting.
• Join us for Wine on the Hill prior to or after your tasting, depending on your time slot (open 12-5pm with live music 1-4pm). See our Wine on the Hill page for more info.
